Right? Maybe you're not quite feeling this way. This time of year can feel SO overwhelming! Schedules jam packed between children's activities, cookie baking, meal planning, working, cleaning the house, buying gifts, attending parties. Sometimes it seems like we are just going through the motions and checking things off, only to end up in January with the credit card bills staring us in the face, wondering how we're ever going to pay it all off.

It's so easy to spiral out of control this time of year and just "deal with it in January". I, for one, am feeling that way about those darn Christmas cookies and candies already! I think it's the reason New Years Resolutions exist!

Let's remember to focus on what truly matters this time of year. Time with family & friends, time for creating memories, time for celebrating the birth of Jesus, time for reflecting on the year that has passed and appreciating how blessed we have been, and maybe what things we'd like to see differently the next year.

Most of what we look back on in our lives has very little to do with the "things" we buy and more about how we are feeling or the experiences we had. Keep that top of mind this Christmas, especially if you are finding yourself with less $$ than you wish this year. January will come and the toys will be in the corner when the credit card bills haven't even been paid yet.

Now, for some math (I promise, there won't be any tests!)!

Let's take a peek at what $1,000 in credit card debt would look like if you charge that up this Christmas season and only pay minimum payments:

$1,000

30% Interest

$30 monthly payments

The balance would finally be paid off in 210 months (17.5 YEARS!)

And, would cost you $4,088.98!!!!

Imagine doing that every Christmas!

You deserve a much better financial picture than that. Financial security is in reach for you! If you are struggling with your finances after the holiday's and want to change that for 2025 and beyond, you can schedule your free call below!
